XL Closed Limpet necklace - sterling silver, rectangular handmade chain with 'S' catch
Hand cut, pierced and heavily textured, this elegant necklace in bright sterling silver was inspired by the broken shells washed up on the Jurassic Coast here in East Devon. The form is reminiscent of the truncated Limpet shells so beloved by small children - no window sill is property dressed without a few on display after a beach visit.
The pendant is hand polished to a soft, water worn finish and is suspended on a handmade sterling silver rectangular link chain with a ‘S’ catch that fits within any of the links, making the length infinitely adjustable. Surface patterns are hand applied and no two are the same.
